Housing sales slowed significantly in Northern Virginia in June, and prices for the most part were lower than a year ago. Long & Foster Real Estate says the biggest drop in sales was in Fairfax County and Loudoun County, where sales were down 18 percent from a year ago. Sales fell 12 percent in Arlington County, 6 percent in Alexandria and 5 percent in Prince William County.
