Loudoun business leaders are calling on the county to prepare for the coming Silver Line extension now with an investment in infrastructure, marketing and land use studies that will spark an economic boom later.

The Economic Development Advisory Commission, whose members include representatives of B.F. Saul, West Dulles Properties Inc., Hunton & Williams, Bechtel Corp. and George Mason University (among many others), is urging the Loudoun board to seize the day, before it's too late. The plea comes as the board prepares to take the next step in a comprehensive plan update for the Silver Line station areas.
