It is an application much talked about in the community, but its final path to approval happened very quietly Wednesday night.

The Board of Supervisors voted in favor of the plan to build a Top Golf facility on 13 acres along Rt. 7 east of Loudoun County Parkway as part of the consent agenda at the beginning of its April 2 meeting. The unanimous vote paves the way for construction of a 60,822-square-foot driving range with up to 102 driving bays, outdoor lighting and a 10,193-square-foot restaurant.
