Inova Healthplex plans moving forward in Ashburn

Inova Loudoun Hospital during the last year has been undergoing expansion and construction to better its facilities.

Inova Health System is preparing to move forward with plans for a Healthplex in Ashburn, north of Route 50.

The 50,500-square-foot Healthplex and 71,280-square-foot medical office building will be at the intersection of Barrister Street and Loudoun County Parkway, just south of the Greenway.

The Healthplex will primarily be an emergency room and a resource for outpatient imaging.

“We have had that site under contract for three or four years now and the idea there, as we have developed our services across the county, is to provide pretty broad access to people across Loudoun County to health care services,” Inova Loudoun Hospital CEO H. Patrick Walters said. “At Lansdowne we have our advanced acute services and what we are developing in the Ashburn area is outpatient services.”
